Daniel Lee Bsc (Hons) MRPharmS, MBA
Managing Director

Daniel is a fully qualified pharmacist and a member of the Royal Pharmaceutical Society of Great Britain. His background is in retail pharmacy and he was a director of his family’s pharmacy business before founding Pharmacy2U Ltd. Daniel has over 15 years experience in the industry and gained an NHS-sponsored MBA from Durham University in 1997.

Dr Julian Harrison BPharm MRPharmS PhD MBA
Commercial Director

Julian is a fully qualified pharmacist and a member of the Royal Pharmaceutical Society of Great Britain. Before joining Pharmacy2U in 2000, he was a strategy consultant with Andersen Consulting where he advised three of the world’s top ten pharmaceutical companies on strategy development and implementation. He holds a PhD from the Welsh School of Pharmacy and an MBA from Durham University.

Dr Keith McCullagh
Non-executive Chairman

A highly experienced bioscience entrepreneur, Keith founded British Biotech plc in 1986. Under his leadership it became the first biotech company to list on the London Stock Exchange and Europe’s highest valued biotech business. In 2000 he set up OnMedica Group plc, a pharmaceutical e-marketing business. He is president and CEO of the Danish company Santaris Pharma and on the investment committee of MVM, a business established by the Medical Research Council. Keith is a founding investor of Pharmacy2U.

Sean Riddell
Non-executive Director

Sean is currently the Managing Director of EMIS (Egton Medical Information Systems), the UK’s leading provider of General Practice clinical systems. EMIS systems are used by the majority of GPs in the country. Sean previously held the positions of Sales and Marketing Director and Operations Director at EMIS, providing him with a total of 16 years experience of IT within healthcare. Prior to that Sean worked for Provident Financial Group, gaining four years experience within business and information analysis across the financial sector.

Barrie Haigh
Non-executive Director

Barrie is a pharmacist and a former Marketing Director and UK General Manager of Merck Sharp and Dohme. In 1979 he founded Innovex which he built to become the world leader in providing contract sales and marketing services to major pharmaceutical companies. A Fellow of the Royal Pharmaceutical Society of Great Britain for distinction in the profession of pharmacy, Barrie is also a former member of the Board of Management of the Association of the British Pharmaceutical Industry.
